WinStar is a go! We have been able to reserve 5 tee times starting at 11:00 AM on September 28. Cost per round is $80.00, includes green fees, cart and range balls. In addition, they are offering us a discounted rate at the hotel room on Saturday night. Bear with me on this. If we book minimum of 4 rooms at the Inn (not attached to casino, but on property), they will give us a price of $209.00 + $10 Resort fee. These rooms usually run $239.00 +$10.00, and they have promised an upgrade to the Pool Tower at the casino. That would normally be $369.00 + $10.00. On top of that price would be 12% tax, but if you pay DSGA and we set up a master account, they will waive the tax, which is a savings of $25.00. I, Don S., will commit to one of the rooms. So, in a nutshell, if you want to stay at the casino and play golf and share a room, your all-inclusive price is $189.50 per person. If you want your own room, it is $299.00 per person. For you fans of Hall and Oates, they are in concert on Saturday night. Just to give you an idea of other hotel options, within a half mile of the property, rooms are $210 to $230, in Gainesville, 10 miles away, decent hotel around $132 to $152.00.
