Come join us on DSGA’s first venture to this excellent hill country municipal golf course during the height of wildflower season! Ladybird Johnson Golf Course in Fredericksburg Tx was recently renovated in 2012 and receives many accolades!

Fredericksburg is a fun town and has plenty to do for a weekend (winerys, food, hiking, biking, shopping, Wildseed farm, relaxing). This will be a great time to see the Texas wildflowers on the drive down – Take US 281 to US 290 (via Marble Falls and Lampasas etc.); it’s a nicer drive and as fast or faster than I-35 through Austin. Come down a day or two early!

Many accommodation options available; B&Bs and guest houses abound in this town. Book early as things are filling up! Note – All B&B bookings require prepayment of some sort; some sites I have used:

o Fredericksburg-lodging.com, absolutecharm.com, fbglodging.com and of course Airbnb or HomeAway. There are also ‘regular’ small hotels in the town (e.g. Holiday Inn Express etc.)
